Bio:
Rick became a fulltime police officer in November of 1985. He worked for the Fort Worth Police Department for 32 years as an officer in a variety of enforcement and investigative units. Upon retirement from F.W.P.D, Rick become an officer with the T.C.U. Police Department and managed their campus surveillance camera program for the police department. In 2019 Rick returned to F.W.P.D as civilian to continue his work in the Electronic Surveillance Unit.

During the last 15 years of Rick’s police career his assignments have been focused on the construction, troubleshooting, repair and installation of complex I.P. surveillance cameras.  Rick works daily at F.W.P.D., helping keep their fleet of over 1400 cameras operating efficiently to minimize equipment downtime. In the past 7 years Rick has managed a shop at F.W.P.D that has constructed over 800 cameras that are used by the real-time crime center. Rick has received specialized training in the areas listed below.  Much of his training is regularly applied to daily assignments involving electronic surveillance;
