Fentanyl 101 for LEO Investigations
"Fentanyl 101 for LEO Investigations" is a one-day training designed to equip all law enforcement officers with the understanding, essential knowledge, and skills to safely and effectively work fentanyl-related investigations with confidence. Led by experienced narcotics investigators, this course covers an understanding of the origins of fentanyl and what fentanyl is. You will be trained in fentanyl identification, trends, pricing, safety protocols, investigative techniques, overdose identification & reversal, overdose death investigative scene considerations, as well as the legal considerations. Participants will engage in classroom instruction and practical exercises to build a solid foundation for conducting fentanyl investigations. Officers will be Narcan certified, and Detectachem Fentanyl field testing certified upon completion of this course.
